Innovation Summit

Message to the Smart Energy Decisions Innovation Summit Community,

As many of you know, this business is very personal to us at Smart Energy Decisions. Our team works hard every day committed to our motto “Your Success is Our Business”.

In light of developing circumstances regarding the (COVID-19) coronavirus, it is with disappointment that we announced the postponement of the 2020 Smart Energy Decisions Innovation Summit scheduled to take place in Houston, March 9-11.

Despite continued advice from local government and health authorities that the City of Houston remains open for business, attendee cancelations leading up to the event due to (COVID-19) coronavirus related travel restrictions accelerated greatly and we anticipate they would have continued. We are convinced that the event would not meet your expectations or our standards if the event were held as planned.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll work with our Advisory Board and the community to determine the feasibility of announcing new dates in 2020 for the Innovation Summit to take place so we can provide the experience, connections and information that you have come to expect at Smart Energy Decisions events.

With Gratitude,

John Failla

Innovation Summit

Not Your Average Event

Memorable Networking

You'll spend time with executives like yourself from large power users, while learning industry best practices in energy management and procurement. You'll come away with ideas, connections, and solutions necessary to create and execute new strategies.

Productive Environment

Designed exclusively for executives, it's an extremely productive use of your time. Qualified executives have the option to attend at no cost, as a Smart Energy Decisions Educational Grant is available to pay your coach airfare, hotel, and meals for the Summit.

1 to 1 Meetings

The Summit is a unique and powerful way to engage with executives from large companies. There's no booth to ship, no hassles to attend. Just focused conversations and 1:1 meetings with buyers by appointment — where the focus is on you.

March 9-11, 2020
The Houstonian Hotel, Houston, TX

Here's what your peers are saying about Smart Energy Decisions events

Bob Valair

"The one to one meetings are unique, you get to peel back the layers to understand how the suppliers can support you as a buyer."

Rawson Haverty

"If I was trying to get in front of the same companies it would take me a year just to do that. In 2 days you can get comparative insights you could never get in any other way."

Omer Champion

"You get to work closely with the advisory board who are working hand in hand with you, and the experience that that group of people gives you a tremendous advantage, having the support of these people and knowing that you can call them and lean upon them is incredible."

Shay Ohrel

"Having one to one meetings and not chasing nametags the whole time is what makes this really successful. It takes a lot of pressure off both buyers and sellers."

Rob Federighi

"There is a high quality of customer executives at the event. The people with the decision making power are who attend and they can rally their organizations to meet their goals."
